Mystery Ghost Tour PORT ELIZABETH - 19 December 2026
South End Museum

The South End Museum is a prominent cultural and historical institution in Gqeberha, dedicated to preserving the diverse heritage of the former South End suburb and commemorating the tragic history of forced removals under the Group Areas Act during the apartheid era. Housed in the historic Seamen’s Institute building (which dates back to an 1897 foundation stone laid by Lord Alfred Milner), the museum offers powerful exhibits, walk-on street maps, historical photographs, and guided tours led by individuals who experienced the removals firsthand.
