Just steps from the beachfront, casino, shopping, dining, and entertainment, the hotel offers seamless access to everything travellers love about South Africa’s Sunshine Coast. Designed for both business and leisure travellers, guests can enjoy stylish modern rooms, intuitive amenities, flexible meeting and event spaces, and elevated dining experiences in a sophisticated seaside setting. Fully integrated with Boardwalk Mall and close to corporate hubs, padel courts, and outdoor attractions, The Capital Boardwalk is the perfect destination for conferences, family getaways, romantic escapes, and coastal business travel. Combining convenience, connection, and relaxed oceanfront charm, The Capital Boardwalk delivers a fresh new hospitality experience in one of South Africa’s most dynamic coastal destinations.

After an unforgettable 2025 edition that guests described as “the perfect way to close Women’s Month” and “simply incredible” , Mbokodo Rise returns for its 9th Annual Celebration — bigger, bolder, and more inspiring than ever before.

Join us for a powerful afternoon celebrating women in leadership, business, culture, entrepreneurship, and community impact. Expect meaningful conversations, authentic storytelling, networking, music, laughter, empowerment, and sisterhood in a beautifully curated setting.

This year’s celebration will feature powerful voices and influential women, including expected speakers such as:

  • Nomdeni Mdakhi – The Agenda Woman
  • Nicolette Mashile — Financial Fitness Bunny
  • Mihlali Matokazi – The Synergy Circle

…and more inspiring speakers to be announced.

Founded by SG Comms, Mbokodo Rise has grown into one of the Eastern Cape’s leading Women’s Month platforms, bringing together women from all walks of life to connect, learn, and rise together.
